Robert Woo Walks with eLEGS

Robert Woo walking with eLEGS from Ekso Bionics at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York

NYCSCIA’s 2009 Humanitarian of the Year, Robert Woo, became the first person at Mount Sinai Hospital to try eLEGS from Ekso Bionics.  This “wearable robot” enabled Robert to take his first steps since becoming spinal cord injured as a result of a construction accident in December of 2007.  The smile on his face says it all!
