We are excited to announce the inaugural SCI Awareness 5K Run-Roll-Walk coming to Flushing Meadow Corona Park on October 11th.
We have joined 4 of NYC’s leading SCI non-profits: Alan T Brown Foundation, Wheeling Forward, Wheels of Progress and Wheelchair Sports Federation; to organize this brand new event to help bring awareness to spinal cord injury and paralysis.
This will be a competitive 5K race for runners, wheelers and handcycles and a leisurely Walk & Roll around Meadow Lake for those who are not so athletically inclined. There will be awards for the top finishers in each division and commemorative t-shirts for all registered participants.
